Baseball Season Has Begun

Shmuli is busy lately- as baseball season has started! He has practice Friday afternoons, and the team plays each Sunday morning. The Dodgers (Shmuli's team) are having a great season so far, having won the first two games. Shmuli's current position is first baseman, and he is getting lots of practice catching.

Our household is very busy, of course, getting the house clean and ready for Passover. Our goal is to have it all ready by Monday the 18th.

Here is Shmuli in his baseball uniform (and no, he doesn't have a black eye- it is just the shadow cast by his baseball cap).. Posted by Hello

The Twins are 5 months old!

Today is not just tax day- it is also the day the twins became 5 months old. Natan must be feeling great about it, because he has been all smiles lately! The boys are getting so big- their sturdy, plump legs are just irresistible!

Natan does some "Hand-y" work

Natan has been busy focusing on his hands lately. He is learning how to use them, and today spent quite a while practicing switching a toy from hand to hand. This is no small feat (at least when you are 4 1/2 months old!)- it requires both concentration and coordination. He managed to switch the toy from hand to hand, back and forth several times.

Robert, Shmuli and I are now preparing for Pesach (Passover). We are cleaning our house to remove any grain which might be somewhere- whether it is a pretzel in a pocket or some crackers buried in the sofa cushions. We accomplished a lot today, Thank G-d, and are so looking forward to the upcoming holiday.

The twins are starting to enjoy sitting upright, so we have removed the carrycots, and they are sitting in the actual stroller seats. (Michael on the left, Natan on the right). Posted by Hello

Michael Rolled!

Today Michael rolled for the first time. He has been trying to roll and sit up for a week now, but today he suddenly figured out how to roll from his back to his tummy! He was a bit surprised and uncomfortable (being stuck face down and all) but nontheless, as soon as I rolled him back he quickly started rolling again. The excitement of reaching this milestone was quite exhausting for him, and he quickly decided to take a nap.

Shmuli"s Class Siddur Party

Today was such a special day for Shmuli- it was the Siddur Party for his first grade class. The class celebrated their hard work learning to read Hebrew, and are now ready to start davening from their own Siddurim. Mazel Tov to Shmuli and all the first graders who worked so hard!

We are so proud of Shmuli! He has studied hard; and , along with his class, is receiving his very own Siddur. Here he is, in the special outfit the boys each wore for the event. Posted by Hello

Here are all the first graders, performing their class play and preparing to receive their Siddurim. Shmuli is on the left side, directly below the right arm (from the viewers perspective) of Yaacov. Posted by Hello
