Progress on the House Front

Look Who Visited!

The highlight of the summer was a visit from Lora, Jack & Vince. I am afraid that for now, I only have this one picture of them, as my camera was not operating properly. Jack sent some pictures to me, but my inexperience in downloading and then uploading is slowing me down a bit. My boys just love spending time with Vince and Jack!

Framing Old and New

Here is a picture of how the house was originally framed in 1928, and a couple more pictures of how it is framed today. It is quite obvious how much more labor intensive it used to be.

The House Framing Continues

The downstairs is nearly framed, and the upstairs is progressing. The view from the upstairs is really quite lovely... on a clear day we'll be able to see downtown to the east and the famous HOLLYWOOD sign to the north.
