Here are Shmuli and I. Shmuli is learning so much in school- especially how to read! Posted by Hello

Shmuli is Learning to Read!

On my mind today are my thoughts about how much progress Shmuli has made this year in learning how to read. Watching him learn to talk was so delightful because he could then express himself- his thoughts, feelings and desires. Now, I am enjoying so much watching as he begins to read- unfolding the mysteries of printed words. What an amazing thing to watch- Shmuli discovering the freedom of being able to read the words around him!

Today I am busily cooking some dinners to stash away in the freezer. I am hoping that I can have enough meals to keep us fed for a while during the first few weeks after the twins are born. So now we have 4 dinners of poached salmon and 3 turkey/meatloafs. I hope to keep cooking the next couple of weeks...

Take a Look at the Twin's Ultrasounds!

Well, here we are at week 30 of the pregnancy- the boys are now just busy getting bigger and stronger so they will be ready for their big arrival into the world. They are doing great, and during the ultrasound (at 29 weeks) they measured big for gestational age at over 3 pounds each!

Twin A was facing forward, and gave us a great picture of his adorable face. Twin B was being more shy- we could see the back of his head and his ear, but not his face. He did wave, though, and here is the picture of his hand and elbow.

Here is Twin B's little hand and elbow. They are in the center of the page, with the hand on the left, and the elbow on the right. Posted by Hello

This is Twin A looking out at us. He is sideways, with his eyes in the center of the picture. His forehead is on the left, and his chubby cheeks and mouth on the right. Posted by Hello

A Brand New Site

I have just created this site to keep a running journal about our family. Right now it is just Robert, Shmuli and I, but we have a couple of precious little boys cooking, and hope that they make a safe arrival in early December.

I will post more later, as our story unfolds.
