The front of our house will remain essentially the same. The pitch of the roof is so high that the addition of a second story will be almost undetectable from the front of the house. One of our goals in the remodel was to keep as much of the original character and charm as possible. Fortunately, it looks like we are able to make the remodel and square footage increase almost invisible from the street.
