Miss Brigette gets her nails trimmed

Today we spent some extra time taking care of our Guinea Pig Brigette. Her nails were getting quite long, so we gave them a nice trim. We also gave her cage a cleaning, and let her have a bit of a run in our backyard. She has a little "playpen" which she goes in, spending much of her time nibbling on the grass.

I am also busy getting things coordinated with our contractor to redo our kitchen. We are planning to replace all of the cabinetry and appliances. Our kitchen was last remodeled in the '70s and could definitely use a face lift. Our big race is whether or not the kitchen will be completed before the twins are born! I must admit we really don't have a contingency plan yet...
